Re: COVID-19 Essential Infrastructure Sector Business

I would like to confirm that Wynright Corporation is in operation and intends to continue to work to meet all our client commitments. Because the continued operations of our and our customer's facilities and the operation of their supply chains related to the products is critical, we have determined that our company's operations constitue an "Essential Trade" and "Essential Infrastructure Industry" as defined in the President's Coronavirus Guidance published on March 16th, 2020, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, and "Manufacture, Distribution and Supply Chain for critical products and industries" as referenced in various State executive orders.

Without the manufacture, supply and distribution of the critical systems and products Daifuku Wynright provides our clients, we risk seeing widespread shortages of essential products. Our ability to manufacture and supply our customers is especially critical now to meet the continuing and increased demand of consumers needing your products.

Our manufacturing operations remain fully operational. Our engineers and technicians continue to work in the field at your facilities to implement and support the systems you require to operate your business. All other Daifuku Wynright personnel are working remotely sheltering at home in accordance with the various State executive orders. All our employees have been instructed to comply with social distancing and all CDC personal safety precautions, and we can assure you that we are executing complete and vigorous protocols in our facilities in order to minimize the risk of infection by COVID-19.

As always, we appreciate your business, and especially your support during this critical time.

In response to the COVID-19 situation, Wynright Corporation has implemented procedures that we wish to share with you.  Of course, the safety of all our employees, customers, and vendors is our top priority.  At this point we are unaware of anyone having contracted COVID-19 here at Daifuku Wynright.

  • Our facilities remain open and operational and we are continually monitoring the situation
  • We are using precautionary measures in our facilities to minimize the risk of spreading viruses or illnesses.  This includes increased cleaning, social distancing, lunch schedule changes to lower the number of employees together at one time, changes to capacities in meeting rooms, as well as self-quarantine and working-from-home options in certain situations.
  • Non-essential business travel has been restricted
  • Where recommended, we have self-quarantine processes in place for employees
  • We are minimizing customer and vendor visits with all visitors screened before being allowed to enter our facilities.
  • We are staying aligned with our clients and mutual protocols on potential project risks.  We are ensuring that Wynright employees on client sites are abiding by client COVID-19 containment policies
  • Field employees are prepared to have arrangements for ground transportation in a personal vehicle in the event air travel is disrupted
  • We are continually monitoring national, state and local directives for any indication that an area will be subject to restrictions such as quarantine or shelter-in-place and escalate that information as needed to protect our employees

We will continue to monitor and follow all guidelines from the CDC, and will comply with any applicable directives issued by local, state, and federal agencies.

Here at Daifuku Wynright we review enterprise risk on a continuous basis and maintain a business continuity strategy to minimize the threat from disruptions to our business.  We are taking specific contingency action across all aspects of our business right now, and we remain focused on continuing to meet all of our client commitments during this evolving health crisis.   We will keep you informed of important business updates throughout this period of uncertainty.
