Wynright Robotics has developed a line of standard automation products for the packaging and testing of small electronic and semiconductor components. This line of products consist of the ALM and ARM series of handlers. They provide a flexible foundation for customer applications, but are routinely adapted to satisfy customers specific needs.
The ALM (Advanced Linear Motion) Series is a line of automation modules that have as a base, a linear motor manipulator, integrated with full function controls and safety systems. The ARM (Advanced Rotary Motion) Series is based on high performance direct drive rotary motion. For each series, a number of processes are integrated to form the individual handler products. The processes integrated include:
- Electrical Testing of Discrete and Complex Components
- Vision Inspection of Leads, Markings, and Physical Characteristics
- Ink and Laser Marking
- Orientation
In addition to the manufacturing and quality processes, both series accommodate a variety of material input and material output options including:
- Vibratory Feeders
- Tubes – Manually Loaded or Stacked
- Trays – Manually Loaded or Stacked
- Tape and Reel
These handlers can be operated as stand-alone semi-automatic workstations, fully automatic process stations, or they can be linked into a complete assembly line.
